Emergence

Emergence is my first Dutch pour in nearly two years, and I’m so glad I decided to revisit the technique. I had forgotten how much I enjoy watching a piece take shape and finding the balance between controlling the paint and letting it do what it wants to do.

This one came together with beautiful movement, organic shapes, and plenty of negative space. After two years away, Emergence feels like a fitting name for the piece that brought me back.
