Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis began as an acrylic bloom painting before evolving into a layered mixed media work. Using acrylic paint, stencils, relief gel, gold foil, spray paint, metallic wax, and a reimagined dragonfly embellishment, I transformed the original abstract pour into a textured composition inspired by growth and change.

Rather than covering the original bloom, I chose to build upon it, allowing each layer to remain part of the story. Like the dragonfly itself, the artwork evolved through experimentation, becoming something entirely new.
